I went to a Verizon store the other day looking at new phones and asked the guy essentially the same question you asked. He told me I could add texting plans to each of my phones like what I have on mine - so an extra $10 each line (or $5 for the 250 you have) - or I could pay $30 more total and each phone would have unlimited texts. I'm still thinking about it, seems kind of pricey since I'm the only one really texting much on my plan. Anyway, that's what I found out.
