I am a guy in middle school who is looking for a good phone that is designed for email and texting. One big thing to keep in mind – I can’t have a phone that is going to cost me a lot of money in the long run. A prepaid plan is a huge bonus that I am looking for.

If you absolutely must have the "best email/texting phone" on a prepaid plan, opt for T-Mobile To Go and purchase the Sidekick 3. Otherwise you’ll have to get a mobile phone contract under your parents. Good luck!
