what is the type of text messaging that shows your whole conversation to the person your texting?

I have the blackjack 2 and im looking to get another phone and i would like to find a phone that has the text messaging set up the same as it. it shows your whole conversation with the person ur texting. i wondering what it called so i can use it to search for a phone.
