Before email and text messaging

There was a time…a simpler time…before text messaging, emailing, twittering, myspacing and facebooking…we wrote letters…yes, with a pen/pencil and a piece of paper that we took time to fold into origami shapes – it was our innovative way of communicating…before the emoticons, and word abbreviations these youngsters now use!     I totally agree …
    I totally agree about letter writing. It’s more personal than texting and emailing. It was a simpler time back when people actually took the time to write and expressed their feelings on paper without the emoticons or the abbreviations of words

    so true…letter-writing is a lost art! I remember writing notes in class too before texting.
