if i have verizon unlimited texting for my cell phone, can i only text other people with verizon for free? or for example, can i also text someone with nextel for free?
well lets put it this way,if ur bill says the following
unl in w/ 1500 then u get unlimited text messages for everyone that’s in verizon and 1500 to use to send/receive for other ppl that have other carriers like nextel.
now if ur currently on nationwide select. or u have unlimited txting. then ur good. bc its all unlimited.
If you are playing for unlimited texting then yes, you can. Make sure it doesn’t just say mobile to mobile but you should be fine. But if it is in a package then I don’t know.. But it sounds like you are paying extra for it so you should be fine!

That means unlimited US and Canada. but it also means text alerts too. you can set up all kinds of sports alerts and such and it wont cost you anything more.
