What is the cheapest unlimted texting cell phone plan, for under $40? I just want a plan under $40 that has unlimited texting, I don’t care about minutes, i live in eastern washington and i can’t get cricket. LINKS WILL REALLY BE APPRECIATED.

Go with AT&T. You can get pas-as-you-go. You are charged $1 a day for only when you use the phone. You can get unlimited texting (which is an add on service) for $20/monthly.

BUSTED – Bus Driver Text Messaging Crashes into SUV.

A recent investigation reveals some of San Antonio’s VIA public bus drivers are using their phones and putting passengers and bystanders at risk. VIA, the city’s metropolitan transit agency, mounted surveillance cameras on all its buses about a year ago.

Since then, the cameras have caught some drivers breaking the rules and using their cell phones while they were driving. One video shows a VIA driver driving in rush hour traffic. You can see the driver looking down and not at the stopped traffic ahead.Instead of slowing down, the bus rams right into an SUV being driven by Betty Jo Hummel.

“It was horrible,” said Hummel. “It was the most horrific thing I’ve probably ever lived through.”

Hummel said she never saw the bus coming as she sat in her SUV.

Posted by admin on March 5th, 2010 and filed under texting phone | 3 Comments »

hey guys I’m going to get the env2 because I’m a big texter, lol but i don’t know if theres going to be another texting phone anytime soon. so do u guys think i should or do u think i should wait some time for another qwerty phone? please n thank u!

hey, im going to get mine tommorrow! I think its worth getting now though. I’v donesome research on some reviews, and iv heard that it is a great texting phone, its way easier and it goes very quickly, that its a nice design, the camera works good and takes good pictures and aso that its a good talking phone too, loud and clear. But like i said before, its main feature is texting, and its a great texting phone, so in my opinion i think its worth getting right now, because obvioulsy there’s always going to be something better that comes along no matter how long you wait!

Can i get a new phone and texting for just me even tho im already on a family plan?

Posted by admin on March 3rd, 2010 and filed under texting phone | 1 Comment »

My whole family (5people) have razorphones and no one has a texting plan.. but i want to get a texting phone and texting for just me cuz id pay for it. so would i be able to do that or would my whole family have to do it too? or would i have to wait until our contract was over to get a new phone and the texting? im with att.

you can add texting to your phone only even though you are on a family plan there is still a separate contract for each number on the plan. the new phone thing it might cost a lot to get a new one with no 2 yr price drop but you can search craigslist or ebay and might find one

For an At&T service what is the best texting phone? I was thinking Quickfire or Pantech Matrix- any others?

Posted by admin on March 1st, 2010 and filed under texting phone | 2 Comments »

I was thinking Quickfire or Pantech Matrix because of the qwerty keyboard but I’ve heard problems from both. I just want an all texting phone that doesn’t have many problems.

You could also look at the Samsung Propel or Pantech Slate. The Slate is the thinnest texting phone on the market.

Should I get an iPod Touch or a texting phone?

Posted by admin on February 25th, 2010 and filed under texting phone | 2 Comments »

Please help me, my parents are willing to buy me either an ipod touch or a new texting phone. I have never texted before and have never had an mp3 player before either. the ipod touch looks inviting to me because of its touch screen and wifi capabilities

which should i get???

10 points for best answer.

depends on how much your parents are willing to part with. you could have the best of both worlds. there are quite a few phones that have nice touch screen abilities yet allow you to text, play mp3’s, take photo’s etc. i used to have a sidekick lx and now have the t mobile G1 and i love it. it has touch screen yet has a qwerty keyboard great for texting. and with a micro sd card i can play all of my mp3’s, video etc. and kind of like the ipod there is an app store with very cool programs, a lot of them free. i have an ipod touch as well and don’t use it since buying my g1. think it over and definitely check out your options but i think you might be better off with a phone. ultimately the choice is yours. whatever you think suits your need. hope i helped you out good luck.

What is the best email/texting phone?

Posted by admin on February 23rd, 2010 and filed under texting phone | 2 Comments »

I am a guy in middle school who is looking for a good phone that is designed for email and texting. One big thing to keep in mind – I can’t have a phone that is going to cost me a lot of money in the long run. A prepaid plan is a huge bonus that I am looking for.
Thanks for the help!

If you absolutely must have the "best email/texting phone" on a prepaid plan, opt for T-Mobile To Go and purchase the Sidekick 3. Otherwise you’ll have to get a mobile phone contract under your parents. Good luck! :)
