The national Text 2HELP Initiative is a partnership between the American Red Cross and The Wireless Foundation that allows customers of participating wireless carriers to send a text message to the Red Cross and make a donation to support the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund. This Fund enables the Red Cross to provide shelter, food, cots, counseling and other assistance to victims of disasters.

Nextel Texting issues on the BB 8350i?

Anyone who has this phone. I have read that there a some major issues with the texting? I have read many forums. Seems more to relate to when the phone release in 2008, but anyone who has this phone do you still have problems? and or if you did have problems how did you resolve them??

I know one person that has the 8350i. He can text but he has to use MMS with a Subject

is it possible to keep your old phone number when switching phone companies?(tmobile to sprint/nextel)?

my mom wants to cancel my phone service from tmobile cause she says i text too much and get a new line from sprint/nextel (that has no texting) with our already existing family plan. i was wondering, is it possible to keep my old phone number when i switch? and i was also wondering, since sprint/nextel are together is it possible to get a sprint phone when the other members in the family plan have nextel direct connect phones? anyone know? thanks

i think you can keep your old number, but you would really have to ask them when you get your phone or while you are looking at phones bring the question up…and yes you can get a sprint phone even if everyone else in your family has nextel, and if you really want your texting back, you could do a little sucking up and remind her that at sprint unlimited text is only $10 more, lol
